Former India and RCB wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik has been named as the new fur trainer and tutor of the IPL ballot, who made the advertisement on Monday( July 1). The 39- time-old had lately retired from all forms of the game after the conclusion of IPL 2024.
Karthik was a part of the Indian team that won the initial T20 World Cup back in 2007 and has played every single edition of the IPL until his withdrawal. He has had two different stints as a player with RCB with the most recent bone from 2022- 24 proving to be more productive.
His phenomenal run as a finisher in the 2022 season saw him get picked in the Indian team for the T20 World Cup in Australia. Indeed though he'd a lukewarm season in 2023, Karthik bowed out on a high before this time, scoring over 300 runs at a astral strike rate of187.36.

RCB's director of justice Mo Bobat expressed his delight at the accession and excitement at the prospect of Karthik breeding his rates and values in the current crop of players at the ballot.
" DK is an excellent addition to our guiding group. He was thrilling to watch on the field, and I am sure he'll be just as poignant as a trainer. His life and track record as a player speaks volumes about his skill and fidelity. I know he'll bring that same quality and commitment to this new professional chapter.
DK's gests across both transnational justice and the IPL, make him a huge asset to RCB. I've no doubt that our players will profit monstrously from his expert support.
